The new license to provide public digital signature authentication services granted by the Ministry of Information and Communications to L.C.S Co., Ltd is valid for 10 years, from 11/11/2019.
Under the license, with the transaction name LCS-CA, L.C.S Company is provided with various types of digital certificates including: digital certificates for individuals and organizations; SSL certificate for the server; CodeSigning for software. LCS-CA will store the subscriber's private key in a USB Token that meets the minimum FIPS PUB 140-2 standard level 2.
In his speech at the license awarding ceremony, Mr. La Hoang Trung, Director of the National Center for Electronic Authentication, said that LCS has applied for a license to provide public digital signature authentication services since 2015. 2018. After a period of more than 1 year of thorough examination of documents, on November 12, 2019, the Ministry of Information and Communications officially granted a license to provide public digital signature authentication services.
To be able to get this license, LCS Company has to demonstrate its ability to meet financial and human resource standards, and at the same time meet strict requirements for security technical infrastructure according to international standards. such as: security standard FIPS PUB 140-2 level 3, PKCS #1 version 2.1...
"In the coming time, LCS Company needs to prepare well the technical infrastructure conditions to meet the standards of issuing digital certificates for customers and strictly comply with the procedures and regulations of the law." Mr. La Hoang Trung noted.
Appreciate the coordination and cooperation of the key units involved in supporting the appraisal of documents such as the Department of Telecommunications and Cipher, the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention ( The Ministry of Public Security), the Department of Civil Cryptography Management and Cryptographic Product Inspection (Government Cipher Department), Mr. La Hoang Trung emphasized, these are the units that play a very important role in the inspection work. , assessing the conditions and standards of the dossier to help the National Center for Electronic Authentication complete the necessary legal procedures to submit to the Minister for signing the decision to grant licenses to CAs.

Under the authorization of the Minister of Information and Communications, Director of the National Electronic Authentication Center La Hoang Trung awarded the License to provide public digital signature authentication services to L.C.S Co., Ltd.
On behalf of L.C.S Company, Company Director Hoang Manh Toan committed that he and L.C.S Company's team would comply with regulations on digital signatures and digital signature authentication services in accordance with the law.
With LCS Company officially licensed to provide public digital signature authentication services, up to now, the total number of public digital signature authentication service providers in Vietnam is 14 units including: VNPT- CA, BKAV-CA, FPT-CA, Viettel-CA, Safe-CA, SmartSign (VinaCA), CA2 (Nacencom), Newtel-CA, EFY-CA, TrustCA, MISA-CA, CMC-CA, NC-CA and LCS-CA.
According to the National Center for Electronic Attestation, up to now, there have been 10 enterprises providing public digital signature authentication services. Along with LCS-CA, there are 3 more digital signature certification service providers including MISA-CA, CMC-CA and HN-CA which are also in the process of completing investment in technical systems and operating organization.
