Vietnam has the 16th public digital signature certification service provider
On July 30, the National Electronic Authentication Center has just granted a license to provide public digital signature authentication services granted by the Ministry of Information and Communications to FastCA Digital Signature Joint Stock Company.

The license to provide public digital signature authentication services for FastCA Company was signed by the Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung on July 21, 2020 with the transaction name FastCA, valid until the end of July 20, 2030 .
According to information from the National Electronic Authentication Center (NEAC) - Ministry of Information and Communications, after receiving a valid application from FastCA, NEAC has coordinated with specialized units of the Ministry of Public Security and the Government Cipher Department. to verify the dossier and request the enterprise to supplement according to the correct procedures. After a period of verification and completion, FastCA's profile meets the conditions for providing public digital signature authentication services of Decree 130/2018/ND-CP, complying with the provisions of the law on businesses and individuals. industry and relevant laws.
With this license, FastCA becomes the 16th public digital signature service provider in Vietnam market. Enterprises are allowed to provide digital signature authentication services for agencies, organizations and individuals to use in public activities; Digital certificates for individuals and organizations; SSL certificate for the server; Digital certificate for software (CodeSigning) and method of storing subscriber's secret key. The organization providing public digital signature authentication services FastCA stores the subscriber's private key in a USB Token that meets the FIPS PUB 140-2 standard at least level 2. The technical system of service providers must comply with the following requirements. Technical regulations and mandatory standards on digital signatures and digital signature certification services are in force.
At the license awarding ceremony, Mr. La Hoang Trung - Director of NEAC shared: In the context of Vietnam's digital signature market showing signs of saturation when most businesses have digital signatures, FastCA should research and implement many new types of services, aimed at individual users.
